Endurance.Net Ridecamp Archives

I was wondering what people generally feed to keep weight and condition on
their horses if they cannot feed grain.  My horse ties up on grain and so
I am using rice bran and beet pulp in addition to free choice grass hay.

Also, how to riders manage feeding along the trail at rides if there is no
forage available (drought conditions here in the SW).  Of course, no grain
for me, so I am wondering what alternatives people might have come up with.
