But with a gate into a hold can't riders do that now?? In the SE (only 
region I've ridden in) we come in off the trail, get an in-time, get the 
horse down if needed, and go get pulse taken. If the horse is at criteria, 
hold time starts. Everyone goes right into the vet line currently but we 
don't have to do we? Couldn't we take our vet check later in the hold?
