[RC] trailer brakes - Jonni

However, this question becomes almost moot if you have adequate trailer
brakes...and anybody hauling a horse trailer should pay very close attention
to that. Your truck should NOT be stopping the trailer, the trailer should
have enough brakes to stop itself.<<<

And hopefully you have enough truck to stop the trailer when you lose your
trailer brakes. All it takes is that jack plug to come lose from the
connection, and you have no brakes, no lights.....doesn't happen often...but
can get ugly if you are coming down a steep grade when it does! Been there,
done that.....had enough truck to handle it.
