[RC] Conquer Oral HA - Roger Rittenhouse

A new product I am testing on me the dogs and the horses.

This is an oral form of SODIUM HYALURONATE Acid. It is a gel form.
Suppose to be the same as what is injected in the hocks.
So far it does appear to work with me. I did some research, and it
does seem there are human supplements with this product.

I was not able to find many third party testing reviews as to how well
it absorbs and if it really helps.
However A good write up was in the May 2002 HORSE JOURNAL, they recommend it.
Plus a paper by S Pierce DVM from Rood and Riddle Eq Hospital.

I have been using it with one horse, but with the crappy weather we
are not riding much (wimp - yes)

I hope to test it more with the horses.
I 'think' it works with me. Since I sure have some joint issues. I
test it by going off any flex supplement ( Glu Hcl) and wait until the
joints act up - takes about 4 days to clear the system and start to
get the soreness in the knees, shoulder and neck. Then I wait a few
days more.
I have been taking 50mg (5cc) per day. I can feel the improvement within 3
days.

The gel product is from KINETIC Tech out of Lex Ky.
List price is $18 for a 6 dose syringe (60 cc).
Dosage is 10cc for a period then 5 cc after that. That is $3 to as low
as $1.50 per day. May be costly compared to oral GLuSa.

Less then injectable Adequan or glucosamine. And surely less then
joint injections.

You can get more mfgr info at www.kinetictech.net

I do believe the pure GLu Sa or HCl is still the best deal for
maintenance.

-- and no I dont sell it yet...you can get it from Jeffers for $13.95
but the size is listed wrong. I suspect they mean 60cc a 6x dose
