Re: [RC] - Joan Ruprecht

We have always taken grand children.

Some people don't like dogs, some people don't like kids, some people don't like horses. and some people are just complainers not matter what.  We have had our grand children competing with us at age six(and at camp much younger). and some people complaine about that too.

Keep smiling , bring everything, and keep it in order, as long as they behave properly everything is welcome and encouraged.

Oh yes horse age!

Under 5 is not allowed, but the older loop has no limit, depends on the mind and body of the horse.  I've successfully rider 5 to 25 year olds in the 50 mile.  I'd say 5 is young and 25 in my case is old.  My 22 year olds have done really well  Of course I have been riding them since they were much younger

WELCOME  Hope I get to meet you---I am in North Western Calif.

Subject: [RC]

Hello,

I am very new to the sport and hoping to attend my first ride in April.  I had a couple questions.  I have two children, the oldest is six.  Is it frowned upon to bringing kids to these rides (supervised of course) and maybe even help out a bit.  Also what is the average age of a horse for these rides what is to old?
