Re: [RC] [RC] mini donkey - sharp penny

 They are so popular here that we have donkey/burro pack
races the day after the Cleburne ride that Becky puts on.
It's a hoot to watch, both kids and adults have fun with
it. You don't even have to own a donkey and can borrow one
of the extras people bring. It sure kept the kids busy
playing with the donkeys the day of the ride, they were
running those donkeys all around camp under the guise of
practicing ;)
It would be a great way to get yourself in condition,
running with a donkey <grin>. One of the adults that
entered the burro race did the 50 on his horse the day
before. How he managed to run ...errr should I say pull his
borrowed burro when most of us could barely walk the next
day is beyond me!
From what I hear there is a group that gets together and
has these donkey pack races on a regular basis.
