I understand about equine dentistry, thanks for the reminder.  The old
guy gets a cup of corn oil per day for the calories and is looking
good. 

I am feeding ricebran at the rate of 3 oz per pound of beet pulp.  This
means the old guy is getting 6 oz and the youngsters 3 oz - I am
feeding to balance the Calcium:Phosphorus ratio, NOT for the fat
content.  (I feed corn oil for fat.)

So, let me re-ask my questions:  Will feeding rancid rice brand still
balance my Ca:P ?  Even if it does, is it harmful at the rate I am
feeding.
