RE: [RC] men's winter riding coat - David LeBlanc

What works well for me is my nice NW-style raincoat. It's a really excellent windbreak, certainly waterproof, and the vents are helpful for when I get going and warm up. I think the brand is Pacific Crest.

For warmth, I go with layers - t-shirt, sweatshirt, vest. The Polar Fleece tights I bought from Carousel kept my legs warm in sub-freezing temps. Winter riding gloves are a must, and then good lined boots with thick socks complete it.

Hope this helps.

Subject: [RC] men's winter riding coat

I'm looking for a nice windproof, waterproof and warm winter riding coat for my husband.    He likes Mountain Horse but we've only seen women's styles so far.  Any suggestions?
Tracy (who is wondering where Winter disappeared to since today reached 46^!)
