RE: [RC] [RC] Insurance obtained through AERC - Nancy Mitts

The hitch in this is the clubs and organizations that hold endurance rides and other events NOT at the same time as endurance rides.
Markels beef with AERC is that they feel they need to cover ALL AERC events if they are going to insure ANY of them.
This leaves the clubs in the same boat with THEIR carrier that AERC was with Markel. That carrier will not have the endurance rides, therefore may not want to cover the other event or two. Such as clinics, seminars, meetings, organized trail workdays, etc.

Actually the policy says:
"All volunteers and workers are covered as well as any event except rodeo going on at the same time ie ride and tie, competitive, fun ride, etc"
