>>Tellico Plains is located Right at the door of Cherokee National Forest. The house I have for sale is 1/2 mile from the Tellico river and the National Forest is nearly out the front door. The best way to describe the location is that it is between Knoxville and Chattanooga. Take the Sweetwater, TN exit off I-75 and it runs straight into Tellico Plains. There is no other town between Tellico and the National Forest.
