Then this will be the least of our worries. Things like air traffic control,
the electrical grid, the banking system, etc can do a lot more damage. The
state of network security is not an especially pretty picture in many
places, though there are exceptions. We've been fortunate that the
terrorists have so far been not very good at computer attacks. Many computer
networks are much easier to get into than most people think. Things are
getting better in some places - we're actually allocating the resources to
really do the job.

An acquaintance wrote a book on this - "The Myth of Homeland Security", by
Marcus Ranum. Very sharp guy.
