 Another book that is a good read is Talking to the Ground
by Douglas Preston. It's a true story about a man, his wife
to be and her teenage daughter that journey across the
sacred land of the Navajo on horse back. They rode across
400 miles of desert in Utah, Arizona and New Mexico. It's
very well written and absorbing read.
