A friend uses something like this to find his cats at night when he wants to put them in the laundry room. They hide all over the place so now he just pushes the remote and his cats buzz <g>. He got the devices from the Sharper Image catalog they are intended to be attached to your car keys, but they work great on cats....maybe horses too :)
