[RC] Fat and liver damage? - Laurie Durgin

My daughters trainer cme up with a statement that if you use a grain with a higher than 8% fat content it causes liver damage. Something about a bunch of trainers were doing it to to put weight on their horses and they all got liver . But only if it was in the grain. It is ok to feed oil or rice brain, but not a high grain with fat percnetage.
She said to ask you, I said it was news to me.
Second thing that came up. There is biotin in my grain, but her trainer said if it didn't have something in the grain that started with an M(my daughters memory failed here; must still be that knock on the head she took), then was not utilized and you were watering the ground with it.

????? thank you Laurie and Rascal
