[RC] Added notes and thought on Trucks - goearth

One of the best horse pulling trucks i ever had was a 6 cylinder, but  was only hauling 1 horse and a tent and thats when they still made them.  The 460's i've known have good torque and acceleration and great affinity for supporting the Arabs at the gas pumps.  If i had known at the time i could have adjusted the carbreutation on the diesel in Colorado, (but i should have done the deed and made it Turbo), i would have.  It all depends on how far and what your baggage is on what kind of truck you need.  I can remember when i didn't have a truck and anything was better than nothing.  My ideal truck for a 2 horse gooseneck w/o living qtrs. would be the F-450 Turbo Diesel 4X4 and if i was pulling a LQ it would be a F-550, but thats only after being embarrassed because i had to be pulled out a few times and nobody wants to be pulled out hauling a camp mansion.  The F-250 is a mid range vehicle that can cover most situations.  The F-150 is a commuter truck.  These are all just ramblings of a completely unbiased truck user.  Also, i goofed on Larrys # its 866- 364-7575. The only other thing i know about trucks is to carry AAA and make sure your truck is covered with trailer, because i've had some that were not.  Drive Safely and keep the music loud. ts
