Re: [RC] [Guest] Mylar Bits & rust - RunRoskoRun

Many of the Myler bits come in sweet-iron or stainless steel mouth pieces.  The sweet-iron mouth pieces will rust.  The stainless steel won't.  The sweet-iron promotes a wet mouth, the stainless just looks nice and shiny for a long time.  The rust is a good thing, just rub off the big chunks and pop it in their mouth.  (anyone want to buy a Myler (Toklat) stainless comfort snaffle 5" D-ring?)

Was reading the post on Mylar Bits.....Have you had any problems with them
rusting?  Mine rusted the second time I used it......I've never had a bit
rust.....Was surprised, I didn't see any special instructions when I was
looking at their bits in the catalog.
