FYI: A palomino horse was put to death after it was hit in the leg by an unknown hunter's stray bullet at 11:18 a.m. Tuesday at a Town of Plymouth corral, police said. Kris Payne reported that her $1,500 horse was hit in the right rear leg below the knee, Sheboygan County Sheriffs Capt. Dave Adams said. Another horse in the corral was grazed, possibly by the same bullet, and suffered a cut leg, Adams said. The Payne property is near public hunting grounds, he said.
