[RC] Great Danes, Arabs, and kids - Carol Stiles

Angie, it could just be andrenalin that caused the shaking in your daughter, but it wouldn't hurt to have her thyroid hormones checked. Some common symptoms of hyperthyroidism are tremors, nervousness, heat intolerance, weight loss despite adequate appetite, excessive sweating and palpations. My niece was only 16 when she was diagonosed with Graves disease (hyperthyroidism). A common symptom that shows up as it progresses, is very large looking eyes.
