[RC] temps - terre

In my area, they've started requiring the riders to take their OWN horses' temps at the pre-ride--horrors! (they provide digital thermometers). Theory is, we should all be able to do that, right?
I have discovered, to my dismay, that my horse REALLY doesn't want me taking his temp. He has no problem with ANYBODY else doing it, including the vet who gelded him--but not me.
Think he knows who's REALLY responsible for the gelding thing?
