I cannot ride like I used to because of it but when I do go out on rugged terrain I use easyboots on the front. I love them except they do fall off occassionally especially in sticky mud. I am going to invest in keeper straps which don't keep the boot on per say but it keeps the loose boot attatched to the horses leg so your not out the money if one falls off. My mare is not skiddish with things dangling around her legs. The straps are not recommended for horses that are freaky about anything banging them in the legs.
