I have an American-Flex panel saddle that uses a similar type of
fleece-bottom pad, and I had the same "complaint." I now use a Tacky Tack
pad under it, which is thin enough, does not need altering, prevents
saddle
slipping and only costs $45. I got mine from my saddle distributor
(Hillview
Farms, MN, on the American-Flex website), but I have also seen them in
some
horse catalogs.

I went to the web site and it does look good. I'm wondering which exactly
model yours is, as tacky tack makes several western and several English
models. The panels on the RP are pretty big. Also, I see it's got that
same type of edging that everyone has trouble with on the supracor. Did
you cut yours off? Cindy
