[RC] Ft. Valley: Let em' race! - Amy Cieri

Let's not loose sight of the fact that Ft. Valley management has done an excellent job with this ride, the finish line was SAFE, no one was hurt and there was one beautiful display of guts and will by both horses and riders!
Management tries hard to provide a safe environment for us to enjoy this sport and test our horses and ourselves. It takes a lot of time and effort and for someone to suggest that they put people in harms way doesn't go down easily. Management knows there will be racing and will choose the best spot available for that particular trail. After that, you need to assume some responsibility as a bystander, participant, etc. No one wants innocent people, not associated with the ride, to be put into harms way and I don't think that this was the case at Ft. Valley.
Congratulations Ft. Valley management for taking the time and putting forth considerable effort to put on such a challenging ride during challenging times! Once again, you've done an outstanding job!
