Re: [RC] Getting a horse to use his hindquarters - Janet . Tipton


I was told by a trainer one time that if I wanted to build up the hind
quarters on my horse then I should back them UP hill.  It makes them use
those muscles.  Many horses will fight it in the beginning as it is hard
for them so only ask for a couple of steps at a time and then build from
there.
