M Hi David, Nope, I don't think there are problems in Texas - other than not always understanding the drawl. But as a director I am always concerned when members say they find a problem. That is why I sent the emails to Vonita. If anyone knows Texas it is Vonita. I am most familiar with Kansas, Oklahoma, and Missouri because they are within 5-6 hours and not 10-18. If someone thinks these rides are not following the rules, it is my duty as a director to find out. And if they aren't then I need to talk to the ride managers to see if they understand the rules. Sometimes it is nothing more than that and sometimes it is just a misunderstanding. I thought maybe that was the case here with expecting a CRI - which is not a rule. Sorry you got the wrong message but glad to know that you have seen good completion vet exams. I see them up here to, that was why I was so surprised. And I know Vonita would be on anybody that she knew wasn't following the rules in the Southern part of our region. I would love to come to Texas but y'all (that's the only Texas word I know) have some hot muggy weather down there and my horse is a big, heavy-muscled quarter type. Now that I've got a little Arab coming along, you might see me in a few years (he's only 3.) and by the way, I love the name of your farm.
