Great name for this only endurance ride in New York state! 21 horses started the 50. Hawk(Mighty Morgan)and me were 19th most of the ride and we made our move in the last few miles the mud and climbing of the first three loops took it's toll on those that went too fast early on Hawk blew past tired horses to finish 7th and of course first Morgan although my friend Georgia was behind me on a Morgan also. 16 finished the 50. For a first time ride I did not hear any complaints the trails were over marked and beautiful this time of year. The staff and vets were awesome and helpful.
