I have to agree equiflex is a great shoe.  I have been training and
competing both my horses in LD (on of which did a year of LD and I think he
is better prepared to start 50's now)...and 50's for the past 2 years in
equiflex shoes. I have been pulled once due to lameness after completing and
placing 2nd in Pirate Run. Shadow was actually off for about an hour..never
really knew what happened but he was fine after the hour. I try to aim to
place top 10 in all the rides I do and outside of shadows first 50 have
successfully acomplished this.  I train hard and compete fast.  And the
shoes definetly stand up to the test.  The traction is good to.
