My sister had her horse and a friend's shipped from Missouri to Minnesota. A good friend of the other horse owner offered to take them. The 2 horses left Missouri the morning of Sept 30 and were to arrive Oct 1 in the evening. They have never arrived. Gina has had Katy for years and is very special to her. The man that offered to drive them left his apartment untouched so the police feel there may have been foul play as he was driving a brand new dark blue and white Dooley truck and gray stock horse trailer. They feel that the easiest thing for potential hijackers would be to open the trailer and let the horses out so they would not be bothered with them. A missing person's report has been filed, the route given to the state police, trailer and truck reported stolen, and information posted on stolen horse web sites. My request is that you send this to all of your friends nationwide in case there were reports of loose horses anywhere or accidents involving a truck and trailer.
