[RC] AERC NC 100: Alyx Luck /Jon Niehause - saioakAlexandra (Alyx) Luck / Mommesin Jon Niehause / HP Tanttari Have received several calls today by those who are following the ride. Hope that Alyx and Jon know they have a huge fan base. Wish we could be there with/for you. A month ago Alyx and Mommesin led the USA Mountain Team to a Silver Medal at the 2003 PAC 100. In between PAC2003 and this the AERC NC 100, Alyx was named a Rodeo Princess in her hometown of Las Cruces, New Mexico. At just 15 years old she has ridden over 7000 Endurance Miles. The dedication and support given to her by her parents is unbelievable. I'm very proud of Alyx, her accomplishments and am pleased that she and Mommesin are a team. It's quite a thrill to see the Staccato foals competing at this level. Mommesin and Tanttari's half-sister Staccata will compete later this month at Delaware Park in the Gladys Brown Edwards Grade 1 Stake Race. Doing well for her owner Staccata has earned over $100K this past year . Good Luck to Alyx / Jon and to everyone else competing in this ride. Wishing all of you and your horses safe journey.
