Hi Susan,   Thanks so much for responding.  I replied to RC a while ago but things are going slow.  In the mean time I searched the archives and I learned so much from your posts! I've read them before, but this hay analysis is really helping things sink in finally.
Anyway here are the missing numbers and some mystery ones:

% acid detergent fiber     33.8

% neutral detergent fiber   64.2

% NFC     18.8                    this isn't drude fiber, is it?

Horse DE     .99  Mcal / lb   (not kg)  does this equate to about 24% crude fiber?

NEL       .49 Mcal / lb

NEM      .51 Mcal / lb

NEG      .26 Mcal / lb

Relative feed value  91

Thanks if you have time to comment.  The hay was grown near Bakersfield, CA.
