[RC] Adequan - Paulastk

Recently, I have had the need to try Adequan on my husband's 15y. o. gaited
horse. He had stiff arthritic hocks and we was still in work so we sprang for
the 400. bucks to see if it would help him. Well, I read the material and
it's not supposed to kick in until a couple of month after the series but I
thought I noticed a marked improvement within 3 weeks. Now I am considering my
other aged endurance horse who is showing the same kind of lameness in his
hocks and I'm thinking why cheap out on the hardest working one in the bunch,
so
my question to everyone out there is: Do you use Adequan? For how long and
how frequently ? And have you noticed a dramatic improvement? And last but
the
biggest question, WHERE DO YOU GET THE BEST PRICE? That stuff will break the
bank, so I need help before get another round. Help!
I have also noticed that one can spend as much on supplement as you can the
injectables. And I have not been clearly impressed by the glucosamine sulfate
as a preventative (until both my horses went lame I THought it was working).
I appreciate everyone taking a brief pause from the other more serious debate
on treatment protocols. Great subject, and I can certainly relate.

Thanks again.
