Re: [RC] [RC] Assorted Newbie Questions... - Heidi Smith

Stephanie asked "Does anybody have experience with the Wintec Pro
Endurance
on a short backed horse."

Yep, they are too long for short backed horses and very uncomfortable to
ride in for distance or length of time. (that is my experience) Consider
something else. Don't know about the Cair panels myself, but have heard
good reports on them.

Hubby and I have ridden several pretty short-backed horses in ours and have
had no problem at all. I'd get another one in a heartbeat. I'd say it
depends on a lot of other factors in how the body is built, not just the
short back. Haven't completed a 100 in ours, but have done 50's in it (and
he's done a few thousand miles in it, as he had it while he was still riding
in Europe, and has done 100's there in it) and we both find it quite
comfortable.

Heidi
