If the rides were on real endurance trails this would be hard to do.

I have been stunned by scenes of vehicles driving along with the
competitors, spraying the horses with water and offering sustenance to the
riders.  To me this is NOT endurance riding and I'm saddened to see FEI
rides disintegrate into such events.
