[RC] ride cancelled cause of too cold weather? - RENESPONY

Hi there,
a couple of friends in our ride group went up to the January thaw 25 miler in
Vermont this past weekend.
They said the ride got canceled when it couldn't reach 10 degrees at 10:30 A.
M.
what a bummer.
I don't believe that I've ever heard of such a thing happening.
I'm sure it was done in the best interest of horses and riders. But it is
Vermont and it is January..........
has a ride ever gotten canceled because it was just too hot?
That seems to be more of a danger, don't you think? 108 degrees 100% humidity
something like that?

                                                                   RENE
