[RC] Hacamore riders, halters? - Laurie Durgin

Ah, those of you who do your rides in Hacamores (mine is an english or jumper, mechanical one)how do you tie at a ride? Do you use a halter under, or with? Do you use a biothane/halter/bridle?
If this works out on the trail with Rascal, I was wondering how to tie, feed him at vet checks , etc.? I am using a, (not the best fitting western headstall; I happen to own). And need another headstall anyway,
but was wondering what kind to get for the hackamore to connect to, and or halter.
I own a biothane halter bridel which the bit clips onto for my snaffle, but I'd have two nosebands if I put it on my hack, and his nose doesn't have that much room!
I saw a simple hack headstall for biothane for less than 35.00 in two places, but I'd have to get a halter or soemthing to go over, under? Or get a halter, hacamore headstall?
I assume you cant't tie with a hacamore, or can you?
Laurie andRascal(who will be ridden tomorrow,it's going to be 50!!:)
