[RC] Pit Crews?? - Maureen A. Fager

Bonnie said "but the horse and rider are a team. No pit crews. That's what I said, NO pit crews.'

Heck Bonnie,
Lots, and I mean lots of folks ride without pit crews...it's not required and not every one has family and spouses that care to accompany every rider to every ride. It's not that big of a deal. Learning the ropes without a pit crew teaches a rider alot, in my experience at least. I've hardly ever had "pit crew" help, wouldn't really know how to manage a horse and a crew LOL! The few times I have had help at vet check, I felt left out and I didn't know what to do with myself. Sure makes time at the vet checks fly without a crew!
Happy Trails,
Maureen
