Re: [RC] [RC] New to sport too - Diane - Sisu West RanchWe lived in WI with our horses for 30 years. We never blanketed our pastured horses even at -30 F. Under pasture conditions blanketing of healthy horses is not required. They do need to be able to get shelter from the wind etc. And a roof during freezine rain is very nice also. Now horses at rides with limited ability to move etc. are a different story. We watch weather and blanket frequently.
