[RC] Completion rates - Michael Maul

In response to: Ms. Anderson, might be fair to add Ms. Butler-Dial's completion rate =
over all those miles is better than 90%.
******************************************************
Since I'm the keeper of the online stats - I just want to remind everyone that DNF is not reported online for rides prior to Dec 1995.

Therefore all riders have an "apparent" 100% compleion rate before then.

Only rides from Dc 95 on can be counted in completion rates.

On that basis - she has an 82% completion rate over the last 8 years.

It's worth noting that completion rate is not the whole story. Some horses complete but still have significant problems after that.

At the 1996 world endurance chanpionships in KS - two leased horses from TX completed the ride. One died afterwards and the other needed 8 weeks of intensive care at KS state before surviving.
