Re: [RC] ... not "give-up" on a horse and Bunny - Bette Lamore

Perhaps a word of advice (that I learned the hard way), if I may. There can be a lot of negativity here some days-- depending on who's
on-line--- and you have to pick and choose whom you wish to converse
with. Some people have stronger opinions than others. There are some
folks here that I just filter out; that's why God invented the delete
key--- AND most are wonderful people who will give you
support and SHARE advice--- not shove it down your throat. Some debates are civil and some in the not-so-distant past have drawn blood.
Ridecamp is full of all different personalities. As is life, ridecamp
is a smorgasbord--- you may want to pick and choose what you put on your plate carefully.
Now about your horse... Sounds like you are doing everything right and
are far from a weekend warrior. There are amazing recoveries out there
given patience and time and hard work. Talk about amazing recoveries---
who would have ever guessed that Bunny would have pulled through so
well. He takes a mis-step rarely now and will most likely be ready for
training under saddle next year. It has been almost two years since the accident. Keep the faith!!!
Good luck with your horse!
Bette and Bunny
(Since you are new to ridecamp, you may not know about him and how this
group supported me and aided in his recovery. You can read his story at
http://www.arabiansporthorse.com/scimitar/Scimitar.htm) . I am in the
process of putting together a little video about him--- almost done---
perhaps a few more weeks. I plan to offer it to anyone on ridecamp for
pretty much my cost for mailing, packaging, and producing--- $10. It's
my thank-you to all on ridecamp who were so supportive. If I had LOTS of
money, I wouldn't even charge for my costs (the labor is free :-) )
If anyone is interested, please email me.
