[RC] hypothetical trail etiquette question - Jonni Jewell

Now, if someone catches up with you on the trail or you somehow end up
riding with others regardless of who does the catching up and they ask you
to wait at THEIR crew stop so their horses can drink (even if they offer you
water, too) but YOUR crew is waiting up ahead at a different spot and you
want to go on, are you obligated (by courtesy, of course, not rules) to stop
and wait or is it perfectly ok to continue ahead to your OWN crew stop? <<<

I would tell them that I would be happy to wait,(and thank them for the
offer of water) but if I were to wait, that my crew was just up the road,
and I'd appreciate it if they would also wait for ME at my crew spot when we
arrived. (let them then decide if that sounded fair, or if they decided to
send me on my way) Also, if they happened to NOT offer my horse water, but
ask me to stay I'd be gone......

Jonni
