It had lots of excitement:

It was very colorful with all the teams in full form and the horses all
wondering why people are so strange. But all in all, everyone loves a
parade.

The day was spent mainly with tune-ups, team photos, another round of
shaking things out to find who is ready to run and who may have problems.
Team meetings, Chefdahkeep(sp?) meetings and such.

oh yes, the news - The ride start will be at 6:00am saturday (PDT) rather
than 5am. The first loop is quite technical (read that twists and turns and
such) and running 100 horses in the dark was seen as not such a good idea
afterall. That will mean a later finish time (which now should be maybe
@9:00pm - so an hour in the dark for the front runners. The footing should
be much better with the rain. (which btw is over now I think. It blew out
this afternoon for the most part and ALMOST showed us a full view of Mt.
Adams at sunset. I'm thinking sunrise tomorrow should be clear!!!

I've uploaded a bunch more images of the day. Have fun.

jt (who, I'm afraid has missed the Karrot Fashion Show while doing this
techie stuff:(
