Re: [RC] [Guest] Torsion vs Bob Marshall Treeless Saddles - Stephanie E Caldwell

I am anticipating purchasing a treeless for my 2 hard to fit Spanish
Mustangs.

I don't know any difference in the Torsion and the BMSS, I've ridden in both
once and decided that I was as content bareback as with one of those. But, I
found a treeless exercise saddle on Ebay for $48.75, cost me $60.00 with
shipping and insurance. Got it here and it has a solid pommel piece that has
regular stirrup bars on it and the girth straps go over this piece. It's too
narrow for my mare, but I checked into having it shaped at machine shop into
her shape and it was around $20.00. I don't know if anyone more industrious
than I out there would be intersted in trying to make a saddle out of this,
my riding buddy is going to try with this, but it's a name brand exercise
saddle like Jockey's use. She plans on making it into something like the
Torsion. If anyone wants more info....
