[RC] Need Saddle HELP! - Jonni Jewell

I've got a 3yr old Quarter Horse with a fair amount of TB in him. I
normally ride him hunt seat. This wkend we went trail riding and I noticed
he had white hairs where the tree of my saddle would sit on his back. <<<

He is just a baby. His back is going to still do some changes and
developing. You can not fix ill fitting saddles with saddle pads, but often
you can help lessen the poor fit. Very often, it is easiest to find a "hunt
seat" saddle that will fit. (but often trail riders are not as keen at
spending long hours in them) Until he is older, and done growing and
changing, you might continue to have some issues with him. Or, you might
not.... I would personally look into other hunt seat saddles, since you are
used to riding in them, and try to find one to work for you as he finishes
growing, then look for the "perfect" trail saddle.
