[RC] more trucks (dually) - Jonni Jewell

We have a dually because we have a cabover camper on the truck. (9.5') Much
more stable. We also went with 4x4. Not sure GM makes a dual rear wheel, 4x4
these days.....they used to, but I know Ford does. Have not dealt with snow,
but have dealt with very deep sand, pulling the trailer, with camper on, and
was up to the axle. (oops....) It pulled it out in 4x4, and low gear
(standard transmission)

There is nothing we do NOT like about dually trucks, except the cost of 2
more tires. But for the stability we gain when the camper is on, it is worth
it to us. Knock on wood....in the over 10 years we have had dually trucks, I
have never hit a fender on anything. That is because I use my
mirrors.....what a concept......
