[RC] Things are heating up here in WA for PAC -

The little town of Trout Lake is getting crowded already - with 10 days until
the race. The general store has stocked up on carrots, and the coffee shop has
extended their hours!!

Many more East trailers are rolling into ou little meadow that we have occupied
for almost a week by ourselves - how fun!! Cia and I are still waging the
Rummy championship everynight, as we seem to be the only ones to stay up late,
but it is nice to have company during the day!! BTW- Cia usually wins the
rummy games where we go up to 2000 points. I tell her it is part of my roll in
her race physcology to let her win and develop confidence....yeah right!!!!

We rode 15 - 20 miles today helping to mark trail and exploring the trails. It
is still hot and dry here and we are all hoping for the forecasted rain for

I just stopped over to the Central team meadow and had a good chat with Grace
Ramsey who just got in today. There were several Central team members there,
and I will pass along the message from Ron in Tennessee to Doug Sandlin.

Till next time-
