[RC] Silver State vs Death Valley Multi-days - Karen

OK, those who have done these rides, how do they compare and what did you like or not like about them.

Silver State is 3 days, and Death Valley is 4 days.  Silver State is going to be in Jean, Nevada again this year, since they have had no luck finding a new trail elsewhere.  So if you want to do it in this location, it might be the last time it is there.  The first day loops back to camp behind the Nevada Landing Casino.  The next day you ride point to point out to Blue Diamond, Nevada.  The third day you ride from Blue Diamond back to Jean.  So you need somebody to move your rig on two of the days.  Death Valley rides point to point on day one, same camp on day two, point to point on day three and then same camp on day four, at Panamint Springs. So you need to have your rig moved two times there.  Silver State starts the day after Thanksgiving, so you can have turkey dinner with all of your friends, or go to Death Valley and ring in the New Year.  Both rides are desert type, rocky rides, moderate difficulty.  Both rides are a lot of fun.  For both rides be prepared for any kind of weather situation.
