RE: [RC] claming agents that won't test positive, know any? - heidiMost herbal essences are small concentrations of plants normally occurring in a pasture. Therefore they do not meet the test of an "abnormal substance" nor do they meet the test of a "normal substance in an abnormal amount". Looks like a permitted substance to me, until and unless you fed several bottles of it at once and exceed a normal amount. A great many drugs come from "plants that normally occur in a pasture." I would submit that a pasture containing such plants is one that perhaps needs to be replanted. The salicylates in yucca are a case in point. Such things as digitalis, atropine, etc. are quite clearly drugs, but occur in "plants normally occurring in a pasture." And the tolerance for them is zero. If it isn't a grass or a legume that is a normal forage, it doesn't matter where it grows--be suspicious of having your endurance horse eat it!
