RE: [RC] Sport saddle and Stowaway -My mother and I both have sport saddles and both just got our stowaway cantle packs in january. We both have had great luck with this combination. One thing that we do differently that seems to work the best is that we strap the pack to the latigo instead of the rings on top of the saddle. I take mine through the ring the latigo is attached to the saddle on and mom just takes the strap completely around the latigo. One disadvantage of her method is that if she ever undoes the cinch she has to redo the strap, mine however stays in place until I am ready to take it off.
