[RC] Endurance trucks - Paulastk1998 Chevy Silverado V8 extended cab 3/4 T, 2wd, green, 96K miles..14 mpg empty, 12 mpg w/trailer, 10mpg w/ 2 horse b/p trailer and slidein pop-up camper. Usually hauling one horse and about 50 gallons of water. Good truck / runs great. Another question for everyone, Does anyone drive in overdrive when on the flat and hauling? MY manual says you can if it doesn't shift to frequently but everyone I talked to says it strains the tranny. Just wondering if anyone would. Hey the car company just wants to sell you an new transmission...so why not put that in the manual.
