I cannot get over the one rider leaving the ride and staying in a hotel. Sorry, but my kids and I would have been in the corral. On the few occasions where we had a horse who looked a little odd - nothing treatable, but not quite as we would like - it seemed right to do 20-30 minute checks and to stay within about 3 minutes of our horse until everything looked normal. Going to a hotl and then not even leaving a phone number? Dear Lord! S
