[RC] Enjoy the traveling part - rrohwer Rohwer

I really enjoy traveling with my horses. Some dread that part of
rides....I think it is part of the fun...go figure

Jonni in TX

I really like the traveling part too. Just enjoy getting behind the wheel
and cruizing down the road. Turn the radio up and sing all I want. The dog
doesn't mind that too much. Make lots of stops and enjoy the scenery along
the way. Think I almost enjoy the driving more than the stress of doing a
ride. I've always liked to drive anyway.
Had a white knuckle experience a couple weeks ago while headed to Santiam in
Oregon though. One of my planned fuel stops didn't pan out. (Long story)
Anyway, the next three podunk towns didn't have any gas. They had run out
and were waiting for the fuel truck. Was down to 1/8 of a tank with 35
miles to next large town. Pretty much coasted into Madras Oregon. Put 28
1/2 gallons in my 30 gallon tank. Was starting to think I might have to
ride my horse into town to get gas. Now wouldn't that be a picture for EN.
